De Nederlander Tiësto (echte naam: Tijs Michiel Verwest) hoort wereldwijd tot de meest vooraanstaande dj's en is meerdere malen verkozen tot de beste dj ter wereld. Hij begint als trance-dj maar heeft zijn sound inmiddels uitgebreid met techno, minimal en electro. Zijn doorbraak in Nederland komt in 2004 als zijn album Just Be de eerste plaats in de Nederlandse charts haalt. Ook scoort hij hits met nummer als "In The Dark" en "Traffic".
